Frequently Asked Questions

How much weight can YIDRO office chairs support?+

It depends on the model. Our Task office chair, built with a BIFMA-class gas piston and a plywood base, supports up to 120 kg on the seat. The Columbia model with a retractable footrest supports up to 100 kg. Each product page lists the exact rating.

What is the warranty on YIDRO office chairs?+

All office chairs carry a 12-month warranty covering the piston, base, wheels and tilt mechanism. Repairs and replacement parts are handled here in Costa Rica — nothing needs to ship abroad.

How fast is delivery within the GAM?+

Chairs marked in stock ship within 24 hours across the Greater Metropolitan Area — San José, Heredia, Alajuela and Cartago. A few imported models ship in one to two business days in the GAM, three to four days for the rest of the country. Each product page notes which applies.

Can I pay cash on delivery?+

If you order through WhatsApp for delivery inside the GAM, cash on delivery, SINPE Móvil and card on arrival are all accepted. Orders placed through the website checkout are paid by card in advance.

Can I try one before buying it?+

Yes. Our showroom at Paseo Colón, San José is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm. You can sit in the models before ordering — no appointment needed.

Shopping for an office chair in Costa Rica shouldn’t mean guessing your size from a product photo. YIDRO stocks ergonomic and budget-friendly office chairs you can test at our San José showroom, with GAM delivery in 24 hours.
